Hey guys! I’m back and I’m not dead! (which you already know if your following me on Pinterest πŸ˜‰ )
I haven’t posted in such a long time and my only excuse is that I haven’t known what to post. This is going to be a very short post. If you guys could give me any ideas for “fun” type posts that would be wonderful! (“fun” can mean whatever you interpret it to be)

One last thing before I end this post. I would really like to limit myself on tags and award posts. I feel like that’s one of the only things I’ve posted. They are definitely one of the most fun posts for me to do, but I’m only going to be doing them occasionally. So please don’t get offended if you tag me for something and I don’t get to it. πŸ™‚

I know one of the things I’ll get in the comments is to post whatever I enjoy posting. Though I won’t be posting anything that I don’t want to, right now I’d really appreciate the suggestions. πŸ˜€

Thank you so much for being patient with me, and I can’t wait to start regularly posting again!

God bless, everyone!

Cover Reveal: The Mystery Of The Midnight Trespasser

Hey everyone! Today I’m being a part of the cover reveal of The Mystery of the Midnight Trespasser by Hosanna Emily. It comes out on April 26. (Which yes, I know is today and that I’m late to posting this) Even if I am late (which I am) it’s still exciting!

The Cover:

About this book:

The Mystery of the Midnight Trespasser

“Rosy growled, and I knew she was pacing the porch. I sensed her uneasiness. Something was wrong. Rosy never barked at cars; why would she choose this one?”Β

13 year-old Emily Kessler believes in God, but when she discovers someone trespassing in the middle of the night, can she learn to trust in Him completely? Will she have the courage to solve the mystery with her friends? And when everything falls apart, will Emily be able to keep those she loves safe?

3) Release date:Β Β APRIL 26, 2016

About the Author:

Hosanna Emily wrote her first novel at age fourteen.Β  She is a homeschooled, independent author who is the oldest daughter in a family of eleven.Β  She enjoys exploring the sparkling creek by her home in rural Kentucky, reading, drawing, learning American Sign Language, and spending time with her family and with her Creator.

My First BIBPC Entry

In case you didn’t know, Megan is having her second BIBPC (Boring Into Beautiful Photography Contest). I’m in it this time! The first category is little things, so I chose to enter this photo:

I’ve taken plenty of pictures of actual little things, but I thought this was best because a baby is a little thing (physically) and this was one of those “little things” moments. I took this a while ago, and the reason Echo’s face looks so pitiful is because she knows she’s not allowed to go near the baby. πŸ˜‰

God bless, everyone!

Get To Know Me Tag ~ Concealed Foundation

Get To Know Me Tag

2 days ago I decided to count all of the books we have in our house, and found that we have over 1,700 books, not including school workbooks. Anyway…

Get To Know Me Tag ~ Concealed Foundation

Mary Kate has nominated me for the Get To Know Me Tag! Thank you Mary Kate! You can find her blog here.
Now it begins…

Vital Stats

Well, actually Katie is my nickname, my real name’s Mikayla. I’ve had the nickname Katie since before birth, and I’m very rarely called by Mikayla. So rarely that I sometimes forget that Katie is a nickname. πŸ˜€

Place of Birth:
Portland Oregon.

Best Friend:
My first best friend is one I’ve known for over 10 years.

Sorry, I don’t remember.

Either dance or soccer.

Real Holiday:
Our family stayed in a beach house for a week at the coast. I think that counts πŸ˜‰

I don’t know if my fist concert counts as a concert, but if it does than my first concert was a church event where Building 429 came and preformed free for everyone. Yep, I didn’t have to pay for my first concert! (Okay fine. My parents didn’t have to pay for my fist concert.)

Lord of the Rings!

TV Shows:
The Andy Griffith Show, Phineas & Ferb, 24, and When Calls The Heart.

I recently found that I really like the color mint.

Still “Praise You In This Storm” by Casting Crowns.

I think Ixtapa.

I love the Trixie Belden series, but if we’re talking about just a book, then probably either To Kill a Mockingbird or Do Hard Things.

Kind of tired and energetic at the same time.

Single or Taken:
Well, I’m not taken, so I guess that makes me single. πŸ˜€

I’m eating fried rice at the moment.

A white t-shirt with a purple guitar on it, denim shorts, and very fluffy hair.

The letters show up as I type them. πŸ˜‰

Want Children:

Want to Get Married:
My plan is to get married before having children, so yes!

Careers in Mind:
Tailor, hairstylist, daycare provider, or just being a mom. πŸ™‚

Where You Want To Live:
Probably here in Oregon, but that could change.

Do You Believe In

Yes. Whether we believe it or not, God is working miracles all around us.

Love At First Sight:
Not really.

There are spirits and demons, but not ghosts.

Yep! And I’m excited to see my Savior one day!

Yes. But thankfully, God lets us choose not to go there.

Kissing On The First Date:
Everyone gets to make their own choice in this, but I’m choosing to save my first kiss for my wedding.

Nope. Alone I’m nothing. But with God, I can do anything.

I Tag:
